While this looks very customizable, it isn't much. In fact, thanks to the design, the two settings shown are all you can do. Here are my observations. Here are your limitations: 1. Short baffles only work vertically between a long baffle and an outside wall.2. Short dividers will NOT fit between two long dividers placed vertically, so you cannot split a medium sized column horizontally.3. The middle dividers work as shown in the picture, they can all be vertical or horizontal between two other middle dividers (as shown in the picture) depending on your configuration. Notes: 1. If you place the partitions too close together, it will be difficult to remove small items.2. The height of the dividers means most of the makeup you would be standing on (base etc.) is too tall. If you are using multiple powder brushes as shown (just kidding, do them all) and the compartments are not filled with new product as shown, the top will close to allow small and thin items to fit through.4. Products longer or taller than 6.5 inches will not work unless you sacrifice more compartments. 5. The brush compartments are very narrow, once you put the blush brush in the back row, the front row can be difficult to use.
