My daughter found one of these at a discount store a few years ago - one circle was slightly curved; She paid about half the price of the undamaged retail version. She's since moved out, gave it to me, I've used it as a table in my closet, which faces the waterfront and overlooks the large back porch, pool, etc. I finally got over it and ordered another one to use on the other end of my couch instead of the bulky antique sewing machine cabinet that had been sitting there for years. the other one I had was missing, so voilà! The extra went to the old table. They are sturdy, heavier than you think and very well made. I find they brighten the look of the room and are very versatile. I took mine outside to use, for example (temporarily) as an extra table for our patio. I found them terribly dusty and not easy to dust off, so once a year I take them out to the patio and clean them with a car wash brush and hose. What I couldn't remove with a quick dusting is gone. Problem solved!
