My 4 year old daughter loves this set! This is the first Duplo set she hasn't immediately disassembled since we put it together. She moves the animals and I hear her getting them to "talk" to each other. As a teacher, I'm always on the lookout for toys that encourage independent, imaginative play. The background included in the set is made of durable cardboard and makes the set even more fun. I was able to move the TV from room to room with ease. This is a substantial set for the money. I will be buying a second set for my nephew's birthday.
