Works but awkward design

So they definitely work, but they're bulky and uncomfortable. The base is a giant fork that you stick into the wall, which is what I expected. The sticks sit in the base and are easy to remove and replace. My biggest issue with them is that I don't feel like sticks are built for the base. The fit is so loose that you can easily knock them out if you hit them in passing. Not sure why they made boarding so free but it's annoying enough that I can only give them 3 stars. Another issue I had is that the base itself is on a swivel mount. So you stick them in the wall and the base can rotate. This would normally be a nice feature as it would allow you to use the fork in more awkward spots, but with the sticks sitting so loosely in the base it actually feels like this only adds to the brittleness. If you walk past and hit her (or your dog), the whole thing spins slightly and the stupid flashlight stick falls out. Basically, they require a lot of babysitting to stay upright and charge, which is NOT what I'm looking for in an emergency standby product. I WANT to just plug the suction cups into the outlet and forget about them until the power goes out. I don't like watching the flashlight spinning all the time because it keeps falling out.

Pros
  • SAFETY DEVICE - Nothing beats peace of mind. Since no batteries are required, this emergency light is ready to use straight away, which comes in handy in the event of a power outage. It is also a great gift, especially for older family members. Lightweight device with chrome finish
Cons
  • Off fashion
