Just received and installed on an unopened tablet which I just took out of the box. I also cleaned the screen and made sure there was no dust on it. Then I peeled half the plastic off the screen protector, lined it up at the corners and peeled off the rest of the plastic a bit and let it sit on top of the screen without touching it for a few minutes and it lay perfectly without air bubbles. The trick is not only to get all dust particles off the screen, but also to let it settle on its own without pressing on it or trying to prematurely remove the bubbles. If there are bubbles, it's not the defenders' fault and the screen wasn't properly cleaned and prepped! I can't comment on how well it handles crashes since I just installed it, but I'll definitely edit my review when it does!
