Review on πŸ‘“ FEISEDY B2497: Stylish Progressive Multifocal Reading Glasses with Blue Light Blocking for Ultimate Eye Comfort - Ideal for Both Women and Men by Jill Ellis

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Beautiful frames. The worst progressive lenses!

I really wanted to like these glasses but as other reviews have noted although the frame is really good the lenses make these glasses hard to like. The zoom transition is very, very steep laterally, so you always end up turning your head to focus on things, not just moving your eyes. Also, the no-magnification area seems to consist of two very small areas at the top corners of the lens. So you have to slide them over your nose to see over your glasses. This is exactly the problem that progressive lenses are supposed to solve! I have other progressive lenses that I dream of wearing. I've noticed that the progressive lenses that I find comfortable have a magnification gradient from top to bottom rather than side to side. These glasses appear to have lenses with a complex gradient of magnification, varying both top-to-bottom and side-to-side. As you can see in your image (above), the zoom range on each lens is shaped like a steep volcanic silhouette. So when your eyes move sideways, the diopter of the lens changes dramatically. For close-up work where you're looking straight ahead most of the time, you can get used to it, but for any task that requires distance vision when your eyes move from side to side, these lenses are extremely uncomfortable. You can just forget about driving them. My recommendation: Here are two pairs of progressive readers that are to die for (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079ZQF98B). While they may not be as stylish (depending on your taste), both pairs cost less than the pair I'm reviewing here. When I use them, it's like little angels kissing my eyeballs.
