Better than suction cups.
This phone mount is more convenient and easier to install than those with suction cups because suction cups lose their ability to stick to the window over time. It tends to slip while driving, so make sure the grip is on the furthest part of the dashboard's curve. It's closer to the steering wheel than I need, so it will take some getting used to. In general I like it.
