I use this thing for woodworking, sanding, cutting and anything else I can do. I abuse this thing and really enjoy projects. It is not yet on the market and I use it extensively. I'll buy another one when it comes out. They are well made and not heavy. I work with wood carving and metalworking. Update: December 31, 2008. Died today. Used it to cut and he got caught. Stopped his head. I tried how less power. And then smoke came out of the engine. Now I confess that I used it when the cut-off wheel got stuck. But I've only had this thing for 10 months. It hasn't even been a year since it broke. Not a professional tool I would say. Both contractors and specialists need things for years to come. That's why you pay a lot of money. Right? I won't buy any other. Although this one was good until today. It doesn't cost any money to buy another one. I'll go with DEWALT or Milwaukee as I know they can handle projects.
