I first discovered this type of instrument during a foot reflexology massage. I thought this tool would be too "hard" and not as comfortable as a manual massage. This wasn't really a problem as the foot can take quite a bit of pressure. I literally feel relieved now that I massaged myself with this instrument. If I tried the same thing with my hands, my hands would hurt a lot.
