They are supplied as a kit that you have to assemble and connect yourself. This is also easy to do, but they had a problem finding the right screws in our kit. The mounting plate comes with pan head screws making it difficult to mount flush to the wall as the rounded top will dent the wall. I had to replace them with some flat head screws I had laying around. Also, they arrived with only 3 decorative screws going around the cone, which is only enough for one of the two sconces. In order not to look out of place, we didn't use decorative screws on any of the sconces, which is a shame. The dimmer works as it should on our light bulbs, the cable is long enough and we end up with two pretty wall lamps.
