Waterproof speaker with few compromises

Color is a little darker than expected but looks great. I received two, one to try and one as a gift. The speaker has five buttons on the front. There is a play/pause button, a forward/volume up button, a back/volume down button, and a call button. There is also a hole for a microphone. It comes with a detachable suction cup and a USB charger. The forward and back buttons have a dual purpose: a press skips accordingly, while a press and hold changes the speaker volume. Good speaker works as advertised. You can pair it with your phone and enjoy music in the shower. Buttons allow you to switch songs at will without touching your phone. The speaker is IP4 waterproof and therefore splash-proof. (NOTE: it is not afraid of water immersion, IP7+). Thanks to the built-in microphone, you can also take calls in the shower. Pressing and holding the phone button brings up the last contact. Surprisingly, the speaker sounds better than expected. In my household the speaker is used a lot on a single charge, only about an hour a day for about 3-4 days. It automatically connects to the last paired device when you turn on the device, which can be inconvenient when trying to pair with a new one. device while another device is within range. Poor sound can suffer, especially high frequencies when you turn up the volume. Low frequencies are not very present, but this is probably due to the case. The USB charger is not standard, it is a coaxial power connector (barrel plug) to USB, so keeping up with the charger is very important. Personally, I'd prefer a standard USB specification like Micro-USB or even Mini-USB. The suction cup doesn't always stay on, which can cause submersion problems if dropped into a full bath. The connector covering the coaxial power connector can be easily removed. Some people also find answering the phone in the shower a bit creepy. Call quality is impressive, but not the best. The voice is low, you can hear the echo. Verdict: This speaker lives up to what it offers with good battery life and a custom charger. While there are some compromises, this is a great option for those who enjoy dancing in front of the mirror and singing in the shower. Plus, you can put on some Michael Bublé and have a steamy night in the shower. You can skip this scam song playing on every pandora station. You can even try to convince your friends that you're five minutes away at a traffic light, although the familiar echo of a toilet and running water can give you away.
