If you're looking at these, you probably have a specific work area that they're useful for (chef, nurse, etc.). They look professional for this type of use. Unfortunately, they were totally uncomfortable when I put them on. There is no arch support and they true to size. I don't think insoles can be bought/put in to improve this. I have relatively flat feet and my arches started to complain right away. The toe is uncomfortable. a little tight, but not a deal breaker per se. Despite the low arch of the foot, it creases when worn, even when not bending or walking. This creates a crease that over time either tears the upper of the shoe or creates an uncomfortable pressure point on the top of the foot. But the traction is GREAT. I've tried them on at my house and they really seem to stick to the floor. This part impressed me. They can withstand a slippery floor or two in a hospital or kitchen. As far as looks go, wearing them won't get you out on a date. But hey, these are work shoes. Overall they are well made, but they just aren't made for my feet. Your mileage may vary.
