Review on NPET K61 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - RGB Backlit, Ultra-Compact with Blue Switches - Perfect for Windows PC Gamers (68 Keys, White) by Mario Bullard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good basic keyboard but nothing "gaming " other than RGB, no decent options

So overall it's just a good basic keyboard with a few "gaming" extras. The build quality of the keyboard is actually very good and the whole thing feels sturdy. Feelings are nice too. The plastic doesn't feel cheap or break after a month. The keys are comfortable, have a satisfactory drop and a fairly good response time for a membrane keyboard. The size is small but not compact compared to a regular full-size keyboard. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's great for what it is, a regular keyboard, 5 stars for me is reserved for the best products in the line. The bad thing is that the buttons are noisy, but I know some people who like it. "Additional functions" such as "Play, Pause, Stop" are executed via special key combinations, not via special buttons. What bothered me the most was the lack of true "RGB" control. You have 2 settings for the keyboard and they are all multicolored rainbows with no real separation between the keys. You CANNOT select just one solid color, and you can only "breathe" the multicolor settings and adjust the brightness. There are no real "gaming" features other than RGB lighting, so don't expect too much. While RGB has nothing to do with how the keyboard works, I figured I could get more color control through images. Also, the keyboard comes with a keycap removal tool and the pictures show 4 red keys for "WASD". ', but I got a little frustrated when it didn't actually come with the keyboard. Being color blind, the keyboard's constant multicolor RGB you're stuck on can be confusing to my eyes and those 4 red keys would help a lot with the wrong keystrokes, which is an issue for me at the moment.
