I give this five stars as a makeup artist, let me tell you why.

WARNING - DETAILED INSPECTION. This is a detailed review that will help anyone wanting to make an informed purchasing decision to understand if this set is worth investing in. If you prefer a summary see ------------------ I have been an artist for most of my life. Not only do I work in makeup, I also work in fine arts and other arts that require different brushes to do what I want. At first glance, this kit seems like a silly investment. However, I don't quite see it that way. Let me explain why. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM A BRUSH SET? First, let's define what you're looking for in a brush set. -- Are you a makeup newbie who want to follow the latest makeup on You Tube? Painter? Are you a young man who likes to experiment with makeup every now and then? - Are you looking for a cheap travel brush set that works well but won't make you cry when you lose it? Are you someone who wants to work with kits or with people where brushes are easy to get? - Want a professional brush set to last forever? - You have little money and really want to get as many brushes as possible for money and then buy expensive ones? Once you've asked yourself these questions, we can move on to why I think this set deserves five stars. WHAT IS THIS SET FOR? Firstly, this set comes in a pink case that closes with ribbons. It is easy to wash and keep clean. All brushes have individual pockets to store them in and the case rolls up to prevent them from breaking or bending. Inside there is a valve to protect the bristles from spreading and rubbing against other brushes during storage. There are many brushes for a variety of purposes. WHAT BRUSHES ARE IN THIS? This list includes a list of brushes for her, but let me explain something to you. You can do a lot of things with almost any brush if you get creative. For precise application of a brush that isn't as full or pointy as you'd like, you can place your fingertips directly on the end of the brush to draw a fine or thin line and it will work great. These brushes have a large spring. She. This means you can apply the cream with some pressure and the brush doesn't leak and leave you with a messy application. There are both soft face brushes and fan brushes. Let's take a closer look. EYE BRUSHES I'll say right away that I have more brushes than most people would look at in a lifetime. I have high quality professional brushes from different companies. I have special mid-priced brushes. I have beautiful brushes, I have ELF brushes. Each line has brushes that are awesome to me and others that aren't really good brushes. This set contains different eye brushes. There are hazel-shaped brushes that have an excellent spring. They work great with cream eyeshadows but also work well with powder eyeshadows and blend the edges. Flat brushes are great for eyeliner, eyeshadow, or eyeliner in small corners. There is a pencil brush, quite big but great for blending the corners. It also has a fantastic spring which means it won't fall apart if you push it down. There is a foam brush that is great for blending smoky eyes. There is a foam applicator, like in cheap pharmacy shades. Believe it or not, there are expensive eyeshadows that work best with just this type of applicator. There is a slanted brush as well as a long liquid eyeliner brush. They are all of decent quality and working with them you can get great results with BIG shadows. LIPSI invites you to experiment with multiple lip brushes and find the one that suits you. One of the small hazelnut-shaped brushes is great for applying lipstick. If you practice, you can also use edges for strokes. It's not uncommon to find a lip brush that's better for thick cream eyeshadow, or I find a creamy eyeshadow brush that's better for lips. With this set you don't have to be afraid to experiment with FACE, here you will find a variety of face brushes. There are two fans - one for a little powder at the end or for applying very metallic highlighters or bright blushes. It's amazing, when you apply lightly with a fan brush, how you can achieve a beautiful glow with a blush or highlighter that is often too intense with any other application method. There's a huge fan brush that's great for the chest and neck areas. as well as areas of the face. Experiment again. You can get a big fan to do many things if you experiment and use the edges in different ways. Don't be afraid to pinch the edges between your fingers to sharpen the edges if needed. There are fluffy powder and blush brushes that work, but there are also two cream brushes (straight, usually curved tip) that are great for foundation and cream blush or highlighter. EYEBROW BRUSHES There are two eyebrow/eyelash brushes. There is a coil and comb/brush combo that can be used on brows and lashes if you are careful. SYNTHETIC VS NATURAL This kit is synthetic. Over time, they get dirty and are easier to wash. They come off a bit with washing, but that's okay for a hair or two here and there. If half of the brush comes out, you have a marriage. Synthetics can be good for powders, but are often superior to cream products. In this case I found that both worked well with the exception of feathering out the wrinkles, which I like to do with a full natural fiber drop brush. Natural fibers tend to be a little better suited for fluffy mixing and also absorb powdery products well. . This set is missing a nice fluffy crease brush. Other than that, this set has enough to do so that you can use it on almost any makeup and do a good job. IS THIS SET WORTH IT? I know some are probably wondering why I'm giving this set five stars. let me explain. While I have access to almost every brush you can think of, there are a few brushes from, say, ELF that I really enjoy using. The cheapest you can find is $1 each and sometimes $3. This set includes $24 brushes PLUS A REALLY GOOD CASE. You just don't get that many decent brushes and a case for $10. It's about 42 cents for the brush and case. You can't beat this value for what it is. I mean folks, let's be honest. A lot of people pay $10 for a brushless case like this. WHO IS IT RECOMMENDED FOR? I recommend this for: - Someone who travels and wants a decent suitcase that's no big deal if it gets lost on a plane or while traveling - Anyone who needs to work on makeup sites where brushes are easy ( people take them) - Anyone just starting out who wants to follow YouTube makeup lovers - Anyone who wants to learn how to do makeup and master new techniques - a temporary brush set to learn what you like and what not before investing in expensive brushes -anyone A makeup newbie who wants to have some fun -Someone who likes to play or dress up in a costume -again, where brushes go CLEANING Do not soak these brushes. Quickly put some water and mild soap in your palm and swirl around to clean and quickly rinse with warm, not hot, water. Hot water weakens the bristles of most brushes. Soaking will also cause problems. I suggest using a mild cleanser that will keep your brushes soft but won't irritate your skin. DO NOT USE SODIUM LAURYL SOFLATE CLEANERS. They quickly remove stubble and glue. Gentle Castile is a good choice. OVERALL For the price, this set is great. In some cases, the brushes seem repetitive, but you can use them for a variety of purposes, from lips to powders and creams, and label them yourself. This is a wonderful case keeping them in good condition and the quality matches the price. Clean them thoroughly and they will serve you well until you buy more expensive brushes. MY RATES ARE FIVE STARS. For the price and purposes listed, this is a really good deal. Mine arrived in great condition and works well for many uses as stated in my review. There's also a gold version of this that looks a little thicker for a few bucks from this company if you prefer something plush, but it's a great starter set or a decent performance replacement set.
