I like clear plastic so you can see the color of the Mac. It was easy to install and has leveled off. Contrary to some reviews, I had no issues with the case not fitting or coming off. The case is designed to be placed around ports. There is a cut-out at the bottom that makes it easier to open the laptop. The lower case also features rubber pads to prevent slipping and vents for airflow. I gave it a 4 for durability and sturdiness because I haven't had the case long enough to see if it can handle bumps and drops. It seems sturdy enough, but then again, I'm not picky about my gear. I would recommend it, especially at a reasonable price.
