Review on 🎢 Round Illusion Black Vinyl Record Storage Case for 7-inch Records with Big Hole - Vintage Design, Record Holder, Carrying Case by Jared Gopalan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great storage, but the lack of an index is a bummer. dig the ground?

I recently inherited a 45/45 singles collection from my parents. Although most of the recordings are kept in old Platter Paks from the 1960's, 20% of the collection is in the public domain. An internet search for 45 inch storage brought up these Tunes bags, a modern take on the classic Platter bags. Overall I am happy with the design and look of the Tunes bags. While other reviewers find them fragile, I find them no less durable than the Platter-Pak. Both Platter Paks and Tunes Totes are printed on paper over thick card stock. Platter-Paks paper is textured, while Tunes-Totes paper is smooth. Tunes bags have an improved, angled lid opening for easy viewing and access to contents. is the failure to reproduce or provide the index card and dividers. The cases are incomplete in spirit and not fully usable without them. At $35 apiece I think we owe free index kits. Photo: Tunes Bag in the foreground, 60s Platter Pak in the background.
