I bought this hoping to properly balance Sony A7III with 16-35 G-Master. With the bare Ronin SC this setup is SO close to being properly balanced and I figured putting it together with some counterweights would help. I took this mounting plate, 1 x 100g counterweight and 2 x 200g to try and balance the heavy front mount. After spending over an hour on this I still couldn't balance any of the three axes properly. Using Single 200 didn't work, Double 200 didn't work, Double 200 and Single 100 didn't work, Single 100 didn't work. I've tried mounting the plate directly to the body and also using the adapter that came with the SC, both with disastrous results. Everything is mechanically built amazingly well, just doesn't do what it's supposed to. If SmallRig has verified this, perhaps they should post the configurations of the cutter weights and the positioning of the motors for proper balancing. Unfortunately it didn't work out for me, so everything went back. I'm crossing my numbers for a line decision.
