I have really mixed feelings about this chair. It was very easy to put together, very affordable and looks good, but it offers very little support, slight hints and the seat gets really uncomfortable the longer you sit in it. I got this so I can do my daughter's hair so at least it works for that if it's a quick haircut but if they sit in it for more than 10-15 minutes they just can't take it. I sat in it thinking maybe it was overkill, but after about 10 minutes it actually starts to feel painful. If the seat was more comfortable and the base wasn't so small (it's about the same diameter as the seat) I would rate it higher. I really wanted to love it but ended up being a bit disappointing.
