Overheating is good for Xbox One
I've had this less than a year. Started making noise after 5 months. The TV had to be turned on for a few more clicks to turn it off. A few months later I heard a soft pop and my Xbox turned off. I hope my console was protected because now I don't know if it was protected. I suggest buying an OEM power supply directly from Microsoft for a few bucks.
