Review on πŸ”Š Edifier R2000DB Studio Monitors: Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers with Optical Input, 120 Watts RMS - Black by Ojasvi Sharma ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A little bit not what I expected, generally fine.

About the sound: The tops are weak, the mids are flat, the bass is like that . there is no dynamics and density in it, the drums play weakly, something like Beats headphones from Dr. Dree, bang, hoot, but this is not the bass that should be. Acoustics is popular on the Internet and according to reviews, in reality the sound is not balanced. Not suitable for a computer, due to poor highs, at low volume, the middle will also be sluggish. If the sound is turned up to get them to play at least somehow, they will be too loud for close proximity. By the way, using them with a computer is inconvenient, the sound control is all on the back side. If they cost up to 10 thousand wooden ones, they would be the best in this category. Don't be fooled by paid reviews, acoustics are not worth the money. (17 thousand) It is better to buy passive speakers, not expensive VCL and DAC from China. And this bundle will give you much more sound and emotion.

Pros
  • Manufacturing quality. Appearance.
Cons
  • Bought for listening to music at work. Price summer 2022 is too high. Not worth the price they ask for these speakers. The built-in DAC spoils the sound of the speakers, very poor quality, the sound through optics is worse than through analog. I checked the sound through an analog by connecting it to another DAC with good wires, I specially brought SMSL M400 from home, but of course it’s very expensive for these speakers, but with it they sounded great (for their price), with the correct placement at a distance of about a meter from the acoustics appeared scene, was very, very surprised.
