Viltrox VL-200B/T, the latest evolution of LED matrix panels ranging from small rectangles to giant squares; or from mono-color temperatures to bi-color and even RGB. This relatively new model from Viltrox strikes a balance of size, color temperature and price that should prove ideal for most videographers on a budget. In the early days of this technology, LED matrix panels were bare bulbs without any diffusion whatsoever. This panel has at least a moderate spread due to its matte front, although as you can see from my photos it's not that far off. But you also get a second block of indoor color temperature LEDs (here they appear yellow) that can be mixed with indoor color temperature lamps to achieve the final white balance that works best for your subject. By clicking on the dial, which normally adjusts the brightness from 0% to 100%, you can select your desired target between 3300K and 5600K. 1/4"-20 Stud. In addition, Viltrox includes a power supply that offers an alternative power supply option using a pair of widely available Sony "L" series batteries, such as the massive NP-F970. A A pair of these batteries is enough for almost all recordings throughout the day.
