Wanted a new watch, Timex which I've had for about ten years looked a bit worn so thought I'd buy another one. But the $20 Timex I used to get is now closer to $40 or more, so I looked to Revain for an alternative. This "infantry" watch looked exactly how I like it, had positive reviews, and cost about half what the Timex would have cost. So I took a bite. . I have a NATO style watch strap so I can upgrade or update at any time. The strap that comes with it is enough. The dial is easy to read even without glasses (a must for me). The clock is silent. Some reviews of other brands' watches, as far as I remember, spoke of annoying ticking. This watch looks very nice and based on its reputation (reviews) it will be sturdy enough for my purposes. Can't comment on long term wear or accuracy as it's brand new. For this money I am very satisfied.
