These shoes are worth trying if your daughter has wider feet and/or doesn't want to wear shoes that are too hard or tight. We went one size larger than what she normally wears with her socks. The strap is well positioned to keep the shoe in place without being too tight. From several trials, these proved to be the most comfortable for her. Mom and daughter love the design and the pink color! The only downside is that I expect the material to wrinkle faster over time than other shoes we've had.
