Surprisingly bright and great motion sensor. I was asked to buy them to get a better view of the toilets at night and to add some panache to the porcelain throne, but I wasn't really expecting much. They're made of quality plastic - fairly thick, not cheap thin stuff - the light is very bright and has a lot of options, and motion detection is excellent. I can't really comment on the battery life because I haven't had to change it yet, but I expect it to be above average at worst because it's a well designed and built product. Overall this is a cool addition at a reasonable price and if I had more toilets I would buy them. I'm thinking of adding them to the floorboards and using the brightness of the light and motion detection features to create a lighted path to the exit.
