These cables allow me to get my computer to boot from time to time. When the computer is turned on, everything is fine, but there are times when the computer does not turn on because of these cables. After I replaced it with the original adapter, this problem with the FE card disappeared. I would also have trouble managing GPU performance with this cable. My computer is set to mine when I'm not at my desk and I usually limit the power to 279W, but after a few hours the GPU tries to get above 272W. This may seem like a small difference, but I suspect it can become an issue over time and shows that the cable isn't reliably powering the GPU. I would warn anyone with a $1600 GPU to look elsewhere.
