I had a terrible experience with this product. The price put me off at first but I was looking for something that would keep litter dogs away and this design seemed well suited for the purpose. I reluctantly spat out the money. On arrival I was surprised by the flimsy construction - the panels are terribly thin and bend easily. For the price you can expect a solid, well-made product. It fails on both brands. A week later, one of the side panels developed a crack. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened to him during this time - no beatings, no bullying - normal living conditions and normal use by a cat. This was extremely disappointing. The worst part was that he was leaking urine. Once when I took out the tray to clean it I found that the bottom of the sink was filled with urine - the cat somehow managed to urinate over the edge of the tray. Unfortunately, there is a seam at the bottom of the sink where the two pieces meet, causing urine to spill onto the floor. I tried a few fixes to seal this seam but nothing worked. Within a week, I had to wash urine off the floor three times. Thus, in addition to its cheap construction, it completely missed the most important function of the litter box. I gave up, went to Ace Hardware and got the cheapest tablet I could find. I went back to the drawing board and looked for a solution to keep dogs out of the trash, but at least there's no cat pee on the floor.
