Review on πŸ§” Organic & Natural Dark Brown Beard Dye - Grizzly Mountain Beard Color by Jen Johnson

Great product if you have a reaction to toxic dyes

My beard is falling out and I have a rash. I thought it was the itch stage and it would go away but it didn't. I did a little research and bought creams, oils and other products that claimed to help. After spending about $200 on products that didn't help much, I started to ditch the individual beard products. It turned out that one product I was dying to use was causing all the problems. It was the color I used to hide the gray in my beard. So I did a little research and it turned out that a lot of the paint you buy is toxic as hell and a lot of people have the same reaction to it. I found Grizzly Mountain beard dye and decided to give it a try as it is all natural. Well, as it turns out, they also have the Grizzly Mountain Base, which is your first port of call if your beard is stubborn and doesn't lend itself well to coloring. Of course, my beard is very stubborn. So the first time I did this I just used paint and it didn't work. To be honest I didn't realize it did anything. So I tried base and dye and it worked fine. If you've ever used a beard color that's not entirely natural, you're used to applying it for a few minutes and rinsing it off. Well, unfortunately, this process is not so easy and quick. First you need to do the paint. For the base, boil some water and stir it. Then apply it to your beard with the included applicator. You should leave it on your beard for about 30 minutes and then wash it off. Then you mix the color with hot water and apply it to your beard, wait another 30 minutes or so and rinse it off. The entire process takes a little over an hour. After completion I still see some gray hairs, but after about 24 hours these are gone. I edit it after 48 hours and it stays on for another three or four days. I would say I do this 3 times in 2 weeks. Will probably last a week after you've done this a few times, especially if your beard isn't as stubborn as mine. These are the first few times you need to hit again immediately. It seems to be taking a long time. I've used it at least 5 times and used less than half of the pack. I estimate that 1 pack should last about 2 months (6-8 weeks). Finally, do you react to toxic dyes or just don't want to smear toxic crap on your face? This is the product for you. The downside is that you spend a lot more time coloring your beard. This is a long process. For me it's worth it.
