This combo kit is CRAZY. You get a brushless impact wrench and a brushless hammer drill. An impact wrench with two 2.0 amp hour batteries is already $200. Pay another $50 and you get an upgraded 4.0 amp hour battery and a hammer drill. Why don't you take this station wagon? Compared to the DEWALT DCK283D2 combo kit, this one is significantly more expensive. This comes with the same impact wrench, but with a regular drill instead of a hammer drill. Why pay more for less when it's cheaper and you get a better tool and battery? That's downright stupid. This combination exceeds my expectations. It's just insanely strong. I was coming off a 12 volt B&D drill to drill screws and holes and whatnot, but when it came to building my biggest project, a mini house sized workshop shed, the 12 volt machine couldn't handle it evade. I wanted to buy a cheap $50 black impact wrench, but I decided to invest in good tools that will last me forever. I'm not a contractor or anything, just a "weekend warrior" or whatever you call it. Drilling holes and driving screws into 4x6 hard wood has never been easier. This combo kit lasts forever and is incredibly powerful. I could probably get by with a $50 driver, but once you have the tools and start using them, you'll be glad you chose reliable tools. I have no regrets and will update this review if I come across anything. 5/14/2018 UPDATE: 5/17/2018 Drilled holes in steel brackets about 12 1/8" diameter. I folded them, tied them and drilled about an inch into steel and the hammer drill did a fantastic job. Didn't heat anything. The great thing about the hammer is that you can turn off the hammer when you don't need it. The only downside I have with these tools is the forward, center and reverse switch. They feel super light. It only takes the weight of your finger to switch to reverse mode. It's a quick, gentle "click-click" rather than a hard "CLICK-CLICK". A little annoying. I wish it was a more powerful switch, but not so annoying as to deduct a star.
