Truly the perfect bag for the minimalist mum. I have to carry around a diaper bag for three kids and I've always hated going through it for personal items. This pocket fits in this pocket (it's like an extra back pocket in men's jeans for size comparison) and now I always have my wallet, keys, phone (XS max) and lip balm. The tape is thin but durable. The canvas is durable and does not get dirty quickly. I see the benefits of waxing, but I've never felt the need for it. The back zip pocket does not fit the full size bag as it would be too bulky. For me it doesn't compromise functionality in any way and this is my favorite bag I've ever had.
