I use it every day for packed lunches and store frozen food in it with ease. I've had this set for about four months now and my husband (who is a bit rough on things) uses it occasionally too. No plastic shavings, no major leaks. Food will spill out of the way between the compartments unless you hold it straight, but I keep it at the bottom of my bag and not worry about it spilling (I put it in a plastic bag to be safe, but I have used one and same bag for months and it's not dirty so obviously not leaking). Portion is very filling! I usually make one pot a week, put it in the main pot, and then add some rice, veggies, or fries. I haven't tried baking yet.
