I've had this camera for almost a year now and I'm not happy with it at all. When I bought it I checked the reviews and they were all good. If I had known what I know now, I would never have bought this camera. I can do 4 auto shots in a row and only 1 will come out decent. How can this even happen? Nothing has changed? The shutter speed is terrible. There is a long pause between takes. Maybe that's why they're blurry, the natural light changed in the minutes it took for 4 shots! I have pets, I can't even take a picture of them on the pet setting. I love photographing fireworks, with this camera you can forget that. If you don't have perfect lighting, you won't get a decent picture. Sometimes the lens takes a while to pop up when I go into zoom mode, as if the camera doesn't realize what to do. I've never experienced that with any other camera I've owned, and I've had plenty of these in my (many) years of photography (many can say they remember a brownie camera, lol). I would only recommend this camera to a child. learn to shoot. It doesn't cost any money. The price has come down since I bought it and I can understand why. It's a shame for the Sony name! Sony has much cheaper cameras that take better pictures than this one. My daughter is getting married in May. I'm currently looking for a camera that I can rely on, not one that takes 1 out of 4 clear shots.
