Review on Shaded Outdoor Fun For Kids With Step2 All Around Playtime Patio Playset by Jason Hood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to Assemble, Kids Love It but.

We have a 4.5 and 1 year old. Originally we had a sandbox with water setup and opted for this cause it was marketing as having sand / water tables, as well. While it does have a sand and water table, if you are buying this for those specific features, you may want to look elsewhere. While my 4.5 year old has not noticed (yet), the depth of the sand and water table is nothing more than a couple inches. The depth in our previous sand / water table was several more inches. We wanted to replace our 1st sandbox / water table because it's gotten so beat up the last few years, but we can't bring ourselves to throw it away because we feel this new purchase is not an adequate replacement for the sand / water table features.Having said all that, not to focus on only the negative aspects, this product was surprisingly very easy to put together. A 2nd person is needed to help keep parts aligned when you screw everything together but the step-by-step instructions are not difficult in the least.I do recommend this as an outdoor addition for your toddlers to play with but please note that I do anticipate my 4.5 year old growing tired of the limited use of sand and water creativity that can be played with here.

Pros
  • SKILL-BUILDING FUN: A kids outdoor playset provides hours of fun for toddlers and preschoolers, encouraging little ones to develop fine motor skills, role-playing, language skills and critical thinking.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who are easily bored
