Review on Motor Trend Waterproof Protection Crossovers by Mark Estrada

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Updated: Nice cover for our Siena. Excellent customer service.

UPDATED review of the replacement case the company sent me after the original review below. It had a printed logo, not an embroidered logo. But this kept the rain off during a brief but very violent thunderstorm and it was the first opportunity I had to see the cover in action. I am attaching new photos. When unpacking, a drop of water dripped from the outside onto the hood. It was quite dry under the lid so I would now recommend this product. Your customer service has been excellent and I have a reasonably priced suitcase to use with our huge Toyota Sienna. not waterproof at all. The first light rain and the water immediately got wet. Now it freezes when I leave it on. Also, it doesn't even look like "4 layers". It's just a single layer of gray synthetic pseudo-fabric with heat-sealed pores. UPDATE: The seller made every effort to provide a replacement and allow me to send the original cover in for inspection. As the cover for the car is in a different condition we have not been able to evaluate the replacement yet but I would like to say that every possible measure has been taken to resolve the issue. So now up vote to 3 stars - 5 for the trouble but still not sure I have a waterproof car cover.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
