We bought it for our two kittens! It was easy to assemble by following the instructions that came with it, but a couple of holes required extra greasing and my husband had to turn around to tighten it. It's made of pressed wood, so it's pretty light, so you can easily move around to find the perfect spot in our cave! It's strong on my kittens, but not sure on adult cats! This is awesome for kittens! The top seat is comfortable for both! Includes an extra screw, felt box and extra hanging toy! They use it every day, we've had it for over a week and the sisel rope is still intact! It smelled awful when we first opened it but dissipated after we put it together! Lovely little scratching post is great for a small room and home!
