Parts are lightweight but not necessarily strong. It was easy enough for me to install myself, but I still enlisted my husband's help to tighten it a little. The included instructions can sometimes be vague. The tutorial video fills in the gaps a bit. You will need an adjustable wrench or a pair of wrenches of different sizes to tighten some areas. When I assembled everything and powered it up, I had a leaking area from the 3-way diverter. I showed it to my husband and he asked for tape. I used the supplied tape which he found "flaky". We ended up taking this part apart and wrapping it in "professional" plumbing tape. Tightened but there was still a small leak. Upon inspection, a leak was found at the point between the nut and the outlet. This is a pretty minor leak and I agree. I'm writing this after my first shower and let me tell you that it was a spa-like experience. The only thing that bothers me is that the extension cord for my shower goes too far. There is a lot of free space behind the waterfall, no matter how I adjust it. It's frustrating when I shave my legs and don't want to be wet all the time. This is easily solved by just switching the water to manual.
