1. I must say that I am not a CB master. I have asked Firestik tech support for help several times, they are the best. In my case, I was not able to get the SWR to the level recommended by the CB manufacturer with this cable. The construction is solid and the materials are top-notch. Installing a CB antenna in a Jeep JK can be tricky when it comes to routing this cable and shielding is where it comes into play. The cable I replaced this with has higher shielding and was able to match the SWR closer to the optimal level. (I can't remember the brand, look for one that's 100% made in the USA). I will use this when setting up my base station and will update this review if it works with this app.
