I put it in my kitchen cabinets. They are nice and bright, the day white color I was looking for. The case is made of some kind of metal, so they feel solid. Simply unscrew the covers on the light and then screw onto the body if you don't want to use the included adhesive pads. (Sticky drives are actually pretty durable) The problem is that I plugged them into an outlet that is wired to a switch. So when I toggle the switch off and on again, the light doesn't come on unless you touch the darker part of the cord. Because of their (high) mounting, I can't press the dimmer every time I turn them on and off, so I can't use the dimmer function. I had to remove the dimmer portion of the cord and plug directly into the outlet. So now I can't use a dimmer which really frustrates me because I bought them thinking I could dim them and then turn them on and off with the wall switch and they will remember the last dimmer setting. Unfortunately it isn't. So know this before you buy.
