Review on DOWN UNDER Mulberry Filled Comforter by Lori Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love my new silk comforter. The best buy!

I haven't slept well lately as my current duvet turned out to be very heavy and bulky and when I moved to a new apartment I thought I need something new but very light and soft like silk. I wanted something really good. I was actually aware of this brand from Down Under because my mum has a Canadian duvet from them, but I did some research and wasn't disappointed. If you are tired of sleeping in a hot state, this is ideal. It's so super light and warm at the same time, but I live in Chicago so when it's snowing you might need something else if it gets really cold. The duvet has really unique ties on the corners so I can attach it to my duvet cover and it stays in place without moving anymore. I really don't like it when the ceiling moves inwards. Another advantage is that you can do laundry without spending a lot of money on dry cleaning. One place charged over $50 for cleaning. Now I sleep much better these days. The duvet is well tailored so the silk filling does not move like down or feathers. I have researched. This brand uses only the finest long mulberry silk, which is why this duvet feels so soft and light yet warm. Now I think of silk sheets when spring is in the air.

Pros
  • 100% Long-strand Mulberry Silk: The silk comforter under the bedding is filled with 100% natural long-strand mulberry silk, the outer layer is 300 thread count 100% pure cotton, very soft and durable. It lets air through, regulates humidity and body temperature, ideal for people who sleep hot. This blanket is made in China.
Cons
  • No color required
