I have compared it to my Kiehl's Calendula toner as both are soothing and both are good for oily skin. Smell: Both have a very pleasant light scent and also both have a herbal smell. After stirring, both toners produced a nice thick foam/bubbles on the surface that didn't go away after 3 minutes; however, after 5-10 minutes the foam in Calendula Tonic is still thick, while the foam in this product leaves a thinner layer. Skin feeling: Due to my combination skin type, I am used to applying the facial tonic with a cotton pad, it helps with a second cleansing. This product has an interesting feature: it foams up like a facial cleanser when applied, so I used it without a cotton pad. It left a film on the skin after application, which I worried about the first time; while it absorbs into my skin after 1-2 minutes leaving a clean finish. In the end, this is a good product to try with a good balance of soothing, cleansing, and moisturizing.
