Finally invested in this lamp a month ago. I did everything the salon did the LAST time I was there - 1. Primer with no fixation, it might be some kind of alcohol to dry the nail. 2nd base 3rd First coat 4. Second coat5.First top coat6. Second top coat Then rubbing alcohol to remove any sticky residue. I've had salon results as it never chipped or flaked and lasted until I took it off to eagerly try a new color. 2 weeks. "ANSELF" looks and acts the same as the "OPI" my neighbor salon uses, probably made by the same OPI manufacturers and labeled differently. Note that LED and UV lamps emit UV rays and if this bothers you, apply a little UVA/UVB sunscreen to your hands 20 minutes before using this lamp and then cool your hands in or under cold water when finished. I see UV gloves on sale, I might buy them just in case. (Don't waste your time with those cheap lightbulbs, I have a $20 LED light dryer, when used the gel easily peels off or just falls off, also the thumb had to be dried separately.)
