This hob doesn't appear to have power levels. It has time cycles, like a microwave. In other words, P1 doesn't look like say 100W, it looks ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF. Or in other words, very hot, off, very hot, off. Haven't used it yet so as not to burn anything. By the way, every good review here says "Vine Customer Review for a FREE PRODUCT". I would also be happy if it was free for me. UPDATE: Since I bought it 3 weeks ago it has been used 6-8 times and now it doesn't stay. . Place the cast iron skillet on the hob, press the power button, it will beep and light up, then turn off immediately. So far I have only used cast iron pans. DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY. Turns out I wouldn't be happy even if it was free.
