This is the best thing I have ever bought for a cat and I have spent money on all types of beds and pillows. Willow is totally in love with it and spends many hours a day in it grooming, napping and protecting us from chipmunks and leaves outside the patio door. I installed the hammock in less than ten minutes (hex key included) and it took her about two hours to find it. After a test jump in and out to test its strength and softness, Willow decided to give it a test ride. There was no turning back. The small, soft bed that I bought her right away lies empty on the floor. She particularly enjoys running in circles before sitting down and resting her chin or paws on the wider edges at either end. This is truly her place - all her own, no one can share it. I think that's what all cats are looking for. Highly recommend if you have a small apartment (like ours) and a good window to look out of.
