I got this because I have a Nintendo Switch and Apple TV connected to a second monitor on my computer. (I want to mount a TV in my room, but in my apartment :/ I don't want to mess around with it when I move.) Because of this, however, the audio from both the switcher and the Apple TV comes in over HDMI. I could get a switch and really get into it, but this was the easiest fix. A small cheap soundbar, grab one of these stands and bring the sound of your monitors straight into the soundbar. Phew, done. PS: For those of you who saw all the dust in these photos, I actually dusted off after seeing these photos and writing this review. Ha ha. You really need to see places you don't normally look for! The stand is solid and solid, the soundbar is stupidly light, but I have no doubt it will hold up easily and be more durable. So I'd say go for it if you're looking for a similar solution to my problem or just looking for another place to store nicknames. It's worth a small price and takes less than a minute to "install".
