This EDID emulator is the solution to using your computer with 4K TV!

So for a while I used another passive device to emulate 4K 60Hz EDID for my computer to mean Window not always moving I turned on the TV (yes, instead of sending a shutdown signal when shutting down, it was always there when turned on). However, the other device had a major disadvantage in that it didn't deliver 4:4:4 chroma. I just received this device today and it not only makes my computer think the monitor is always connected like the other device. , but it also ensures that the 4K 60Hz input is operating at the correct 8-bit 4:4:4 chroma. This is an absolute must if you're using a 4K PC TV, as full chroma ensures you can easily read fonts made from thin pixels and especially red fonts (without 4:4:4 chroma I couldn't even read red text read). This device completely eliminated all my problems which is worth every penny. For anyone wanting to use a 4K 60Hz TV with your computer, one of the modes I've found to solve the problem is "Ultra HD (4K2K@60) - 8/10/12-bit 3D HDR video and 2-channel audio", also known as the penultimate mode with all switches except switch 5 turned on. There is also a stored EDID which should flip all switches up, 5 and 6 down, and then once loaded 5 back up. This will load mode 3 to save your EDID information and then load mode 2 to use the saved EDID information. Last but not least, I noticed that when I turn on my monitor (where it normally sends a shutdown signal), it still flickers. other monitor as a display connection. The difference, however, is that Windows doesn't treat this as a disconnect in the sense of moving my windows around. They all stay in place, so this is no longer an issue.
