Review on Moshi iGlaze Hardshell Case for MacBook Pro 16-inch: Scratch Protection, Easy Installation & Removal, Heat Dissipation - Stealth Clear by Klassic Duncan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Definitely not in bags, cases and sleeves

Cases (soft and hard) for the 16-inch MacBook Pro are not in short supply, and it takes a little thought to make a convincing choice. I made the decision to purchase the Moshi iGlaze Hardshell Case based on the reviewers' comments, specs and looks. It was made in Taiwan. The material is undoubtedly durable, scratch-resistant, and the clear, hidden surface is beautiful. However, the cost is prohibitive if not ridiculous for what you get and the reason for my average overall rating. The product arrived quickly and well packaged. Instructions are located on the inside of the lid of the box and are easy to follow - it just snaps on. Unfortunately, the fit isn't as precise as other similar models (like the Kuzy) and therefore not entirely secure. The back cutout is well placed to avoid overheating and the other connection points are in the right places too. When opening and closing the MacBook, the case hardly interferes. It also comes with a standard two-year warranty, which extends to ten years if you sign up online (meaning and get on the mailing list for the next decade). So two thin pieces of plastic-like material shouldn't cost $65. Shame on me for thinking that.
