Review on 🍽️ Spode Italian Handled Serving Dish 783931408892 by Daniel Evans

A fabulous gift and something else:

Lord, I REALLY started some Christmas. Since my son broke my mom's favorite plate, I gave her this dish. My mom is a big fan of toiletries, bowls and serving platters, and she oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo and and gasps before promptly reminding me of her upcoming birthday. I should be grateful that she got over her obsession with the Royal Doulton model, which was insanely expensive (I say the cup and saucer broke me). As for the dish (forgot, this is a review): a nice, heavy dish, ideal for serving veggies if you're cooking for a company. My mom washed it in the dishwasher and it survived her wrath. Anger D/W. I can't comment on anything other than the reasonable price, gift and aesthetic value, but I'll add that when I get a "report" from my mom.

Pros
  • HANDMADE TRADITION: Spode's Blue Italian is one of the most important designs in the history of British ceramics and celebrates its 200th anniversary in 2016. 22 pairs of hands make Blue Italian at the Portmeirion Group factory in Stoke-on-Trent. .
