Advice on monitoring and removing residues

As others have pointed out, this is a bright, large and crystal clear monitor. I appreciate the screen's matte finish, which eliminates glare. The wide screen is useful when viewing two documents, photos, or tax forms side by side. For those of us who don't like progressive bifocals, I recommend this monitor. TIPS: 1. If you order this monitor and your computer has DVI-D output, please order DVI-D port at the same time to save money. Revain's price is much cheaper than Radio Shack's (I found that out after the monitor arrived).2. A few years ago, I discovered a residue removal method that works with all those pesky super-sticky labels that manufacturers put on everything from pots and pans to computer monitors. Use the label itself to remove residue. Carefully remove the label. Then dab (using light pressure) the sticky residue with the sticky side of the label. For some reason the residue bears a resemblance to the original label. Maybe because the formulas of the glue are different. I did this with the HP label and removed all residue in about three minutes with no damage. Hope that helps.
