Installed on my 2011 Dodge Charger Rallye Plus to replace another Dorman unit that failed after 1 year. I think the old one may have been incorrect (can't find an email/invoice to check) as there are two options for chargers, one is multi-mode and the other is single open/close. The one that dropped out after 1 year might have been multi-mode because I've been hearing it run for the past year and try to do what it does every 10-15 minutes. And it seemed to be putting out so much torque I could hear the creaking. It was annoying but I lived with it then it broke after just 1 year. The clicking sound returned. It's an easy open/close and the motor only runs when it's supposed to, not constantly and aimlessly like the other. Much quieter and seems to be making a reasonable effort to open/close the vent flaps because I no longer hear the strained creaking. I've had it for a month and a half now and it works great.
