Runs too small in one-piece swimsuit

I hate the material it's made of and it's too small. In almost all my clothes I wear a small, in pants 4-6, and according to the reviews I ordered a medium. No, I could hear the seams ripping as soon as I tried it on. I returned it. Really didn't like it at all.
