does what it says!

We have tried 3 different antennas and this is the only one that picks up our local NBC which is an FM channel. It was the first we bought and although we got all the chains Fox was very stained. So we returned it and tried two others that claimed a 50-mile range and FM capability. The two antennas were Mohu Leaf with 50 miles gain and Refun with 50-100 miles gain. Neither of them even picked up our local VHF, and Fox was still spotty. It has been our experience that when our cellphones or laptops turn off our WiFi, we get poor reception on all channels, but especially Fox. Wi-Fi can be turned on, but if something pulls, it gets in the way. All we have to do is put our phones on airplane mode and it clears up pretty well. Realizing our wifi was the problem we decided to get 1byone again hoping it would pick up our FM channels just like our first. When he scanned 25 channels instead of the 18 that other antennas had, we were so excited! An antenna that delivers what it promises, and that's no coincidence! We've got NBC back now and Fox is doing a decent job as long as our phones are on airplane mode! Sunday football is now covered! In addition to the fact that 1byone actually does what it says on the tin, we also think it has some nice design features: 1) 20ft coax cable - we have vaulted ceilings and place our antenna in a very tall window. and need this 20ft cable. This makes many other brands unacceptable to us. We actually bought a 20ft coax for Mohu as his coax is only 16ft but can be removed. Now there's no need for that coax. We could send that too. 2) Suction cups instead of sticky pads. Both of the other antennas had sticky pads that didn't stay on our window, leaving sticky marks. We have no doubt that if we stuck it to our walls it would peel the paint off. 3) Suction cups are inserted into the antenna instead of sticky pads which are unlikely to hold if the sun hits the antenna through the window. 4) Clear antenna design. Even though our window is very high, it's still nice not to see a big black spot there. The only thing we don't like about the design is the white coax cable. We wish they had a black cable option as our wall is dark brown. We'll probably wrap black tape around the part that runs along our wall since the white cord will be sticking out towards us. We live in a valley, need VHF and UHF and also need 20ft coax) this antenna does what it advertises. We have no doubt that there will be times and situations when we will experience intermittent reception, but that is the nature of OTA signals. But we are very happy with 1byone!
